Q&A updates: clearer ownership and greater flexibility

We’ve introduced several improvements to Q&A workflows to make collaboration clearer, faster, and more transparent.

Question submitters can now close questions

Previously, only the Answer Coordinator could close a question, even though they were not the author. Based on customer feedback, we’ve extended permissions:

  • Both the Question Submitter and Answer Coordinator can now close a question
  • Closing is available once the question is in Answered status
  • If the Answer Coordinator closes a question, it cannot be reopened by the Question side

This helps confirm when a question is final and avoids unnecessary back-and-forth.

Extended visibility for the Approver role

Approvers now have full visibility into all Q&A threads, across all statuses. Previously, they could only see questions sent for approval, limiting oversight of in-progress discussions.

Edit and delete questions and answers

We’ve added more flexibility to handle typos or changes:

  • Question Submitters can edit or delete questions before the Answer side starts working on them
  • Answer Coordinators and Approvers can edit or delete answers until the question is moved to Closed status

These updates give teams more control while maintaining clarity and accountability throughout the Q&A process.

Summarise documents in one click

You can now summarise a document directly from the Documents page, without opening the file.

Using the context menu, users can generate a quick summary to understand the content at a glance. This makes it easier to review large volumes of material, identify relevance faster, and move through due diligence or review workflows more efficiently.

New servers in India and Japan

We’re continuing to expand our global infrastructure with the launch of new servers in India and Japan. This investment supports customers operating in these regions with faster performance, improved availability, and local data residency options.

For organisations based in India or Japan, projects can now be hosted on in-country infrastructure, reducing latency and aligning with regional regulatory and enterprise requirements. All new servers meet the same security, privacy, and compliance standards as our existing global infrastructure.

What customers need to know

  • India and Japan are now available as server locations when creating new projects
  • Existing projects are not affected and require no changes
  • Security, reliability, and compliance remain consistent across all regions
