Expanding our global infrastructure: new servers in India and Japan

We’re excited to announce the expansion of our global infrastructure with the launch of new servers in India and Japan. This investment reflects our continued commitment to supporting customers around the world with high-performance, secure, and regionally aligned hosting options.
Why we’re expanding
As our customer base grows globally, so do expectations around performance, availability, and data residency. By adding regional servers, we can:
- Reduce latency and improve application performance
- Support local data hosting and regulatory considerations
- Increase reliability and resilience across regions
Servers in India and Japan
Our new servers in India and Japan expand our regional infrastructure to better support customers with operations in these markets. For organizations based in India and Japan, locally hosted infrastructure enables in-country data hosting while improving performance, reducing latency, and increasing availability for regional users. This expansion supports enterprise and regulatory requirements while maintaining the same security, reliability, and compliance standards across our platform.
Security and compliance
All regional servers adhere to the same rigorous security, privacy, and operational standards as our existing infrastructure. Our approach to data protection, access controls, and reliability remains consistent globally.
What customers need to do
When starting a new project, India or Japan will be available as selectable server locations, allowing organizations to host new workloads on local infrastructure.
This update applies only to newly created projects. Existing projects are not affected and do not require any changes.
