Strengthening trust: Ideals adds ISO 27018 and TX-RAMP, renews HIPAA, SOC 2, and SOC 3

Protecting business-critical, confidential data is central to everything we build at Ideals. We treat security and privacy as baseline requirements, not afterthoughts – built into our product decisions and reinforced through independent audits of how our teams operate. Today, we’re sharing the latest milestone in that ongoing commitment: we’ve added ISO 27018 and TX-RAMP certifications, and renewed our SOC 2, and SOC 3 certification and re-audited our HIPAA compliance.

These certifications aren’t just compliance checkboxes. They reflect the standards our customers expect from a platform trusted for high-stakes deals, sensitive information exchange, and regulated industries.

What these certifications mean for you

ISO 27018 – Cloud Privacy for Personal Data

This certification confirms that Ideals follows recognized best practices for protecting personally identifiable information (PII) processed in the cloud. It gives customers additional assurance around how personal data shared in the data room from deal team contacts to due diligence documents containing individuals’ information – is handled and safeguarded.

TX-RAMP level 2 – Texas Cloud Security Certification

Ideals has achieved TX-RAMP certification level 2, the state of Texas’s standardized security assessment framework for cloud services used by state agencies and public sector organizations. While TX-RAMP applies specifically to Texas-based public entities, it’s a further sign of the rigor Ideals applies to security assessments across every market we serve.

Continued HIPAA, SOC 2, and SOC 3 compliance

We’ve also renewed our HIPAA compliance along with our SOC 2 Type 2 and SOC 3 attestations. Together, these confirm that our controls for safeguarding health-related and other sensitive information, as well as the security, availability, and confidentiality of our systems, continue to meet independently audited standards.

Together with our existing ISO 27001, ISO 27701, ISO 27017, and GDPR compliance, these certifications and renewals add up to a security posture our customers can rely on – whatever the deal, industry, or jurisdiction.
