We’ve upgraded external link sharing so you can now understand exactly how your documents are being used:
- Detailed insights – see time spent, most-viewed pages, number of visits, and overall engagement
- Real-time or digest notifications – get alerts instantly, or as daily/weekly summaries when someone accesses your link
- Mobile ready – check activity and performance on the go, right from your phone
All activity is tracked in one clear Insights page, helping you measure link performance and follow up with confidence.

Project index: more export flexibility
We’ve made it easier to get structured, customizable exports of your project contents – whether you’re capturing a full data room view or just a filtered section.
There are now two export modes:
- Project index – exports the full structure or just your current folder view
- Custom project index – lets you apply filters before exporting
You can filter by:
- Files only, folders only, or both
- Upload date
- Inclusion of deleted items (Recycle Bin toggle)
- Specific selections, favorites, or filtered views
Every export reflects your current permissions and project view – giving you clarity and control at every step.
Multi-project management: default admins
You can now define default administrators at the corporate account level. These users will be automatically assigned admin rights every time a new project is created – ensuring that key team members are always included.
- Add up to 10 default admins in your template
- Review and edit the list before launching each new project
- Warn if default admins are about to be removed before project creation
It’s a simple way to standardize your project setup and avoid delays.
View EML and MSG files online in the data room
You can now upload EML and MSG files to the VDR. They’ll be automatically converted into PDFs, so email records sit neatly alongside your other documents – easy to review, store, and share without leaving the platform.
PII detection and Redaction in 20+ languages
We’ve expanded our personally identifiable information detection (PII) for Redaction feature beyond English and Spanish – now supporting 20+ languages, including German, Italian, French, and Chinese. This makes it easier to identify and protect sensitive information across a wider range of documents, no matter where they come from.
